NC Trailers is seeking a BDR (Business Development Representative), who is a member of the Sales & Financing Team. This role focuses on assisting customers via phone, text, and email.

Reports to: BDC Manager / Sales Manager

Primary job responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming sales calls, emails and messages
  • Enter customer leads into CRM
  • Follow-up with potential customers via phone, email and text messages
  • Set appointments
  • Take deposit payments

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Experience in retail sales (same field or similar field)
  • Experience assisting customers with sales or customer service through phone calls or messages
  • NCDL required; Dealers sales license and Notary (preferred or ability to obtain)
  • Strong ability and willingness to follow phone scripts and established processes
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic math skills and ability to pass a math assessment

Work Hours:

  • Monday-Friday: 8:15am-6:00pm
  • Saturday: 8:45am-3:00pm
  • Every Sunday off; Off one day during the week (T, W, or Th)

Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Computer systems: Google Docs or Microsoft Office, email, CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and DMS (Dealership Management System)

Salary information:

Individuals in the level 1 position have total compensation plans in the range of $35,000 to $50,000 annually, including performance based incentives. There are three levels for the BDC representative career path.
